Established 15 years ago, Absolute Pilates Academy is Asia’s first academy that provides dynamic large group reformer instructor certification.

Our training programs are built in line with the Absolute Methodology, carefully developed and refined over 22 years. You will be training with globally-renowned Master Instructors & Senior Instructors, gaining a competitive edge with Asia’s top studio.

Today, the Absolute brand proudly operates eight studios in Bangkok, six in Singapore and two in Hong Kong. All our instructors have gone through the Absolute Academy to provide a world-class experience for all.

Upon fulfilling all course requirements, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Outstanding participants may be selected to continue training to become an Absolute Pilates instructor at Absolute Boutique Fitness; with opportunities to teach in Bangkok, Singapore or Hong Kong.

Embark on a 120-hour journey with Absolute Pilates Academy that will equip you with the skillsets to unlock your greatest potential as a pilates reformer instructor*.

Completion of this 120-hour Intensive Pilates Reformer Instructor Training* will give you an opportunity to become an Absolute Pilates Instructor.

*Option to only attend Part II of training if you have completed pilates courses on anatomy & reformer exercises.

Part I

  • Theory — designed to teach you the principles of Pilates and how to apply them to the reformer machine.

  • Learn the five basic principles of Pilates — breathing, pelvic placement, rib cage placement, scapular movement, head & cervical spin placement.

  • Learn how to perform over 150 exercises on the reformer machine.

Part II

  • Practical Teaching — Learn the Absolute Pilates Large Group Reformer methodology

  • How to teach the Signature Absolute Pilates programme and sequences

  • Complimentary classes at Absolute Pilates for the duration of the training

Certification Requirements

  • 100% attendance.

    Mandatory make-up lessons @ USD 90/hour are required if you do not meet the criteria.

  • Attend and observe classes at Absolute Pilates.

    These classes are included in the course fees.

  • Pass the written & practical assessments.

    If you fail the assessments, you may take up to two additional re-tests* at the following rates:

    - Written @ USD 135

    - Practical @ USD 90

    *you will be required to retake the full course should you fail all the re-test attempts.
